Nibo Family Association (NFA) is a dynamic, non-profit organization that brings together indigenes, spouses, and in-laws of Nibo living in the UK. Rooted in a strong sense of identity and community, we are affectionately known as Umu Ezeike, a reflection of our allegiance to the traditional rulership of HRM Eze Ugonwanne, Dr. Sir M.C. Ngene (JP), Ezeike IV of Nibo.
The Nibo Family Association (NFA) was established to serve as a home away from home for Nibo indigenes in the UK. Our foundation is built on culture, unity, and community support, ensuring that every member feels connected to their roots and valued within our organization.
Nibo is an ancient Igbo settlement. Like most Igbo communities, we have lived in this present location for thousands of years.
The town is named after the progenitor, Nibo, who is said to be a brother to Nise. Both brothers settle on the same land, with no river demarcating them like it did with the other neighbouring towns.
They also share the same culture and still acknowledges this relationship till date...
